Our Team

Founder & Creative Producer

Michael Betrian

Michaël Betrian is the passionate Founder and Creative Producer behind Dark Thrills Entertainment. Aside from his successful career as a circus performer, Michaël has been focused on creating and producing unique horror entertainment.

General Manager

David Sosman

David Sosman comes from one of the most well known Danish circus- and variety-families ‘Enoch’. He has been closely involved ever since the first production of the Circus of Torment. Aside from his role as General Manager he is part of our Dark Thrills Entertainment cast.

Creative Director

James Field

James Field is a dancer and actor from the United Kingdom. He has worked numerous years on some of the biggest cruise ships and performed on Broadway shows such as Rock of Ages en Priscilla Queen of the Desert.
At Dark Thrills Entertainment James is responsible for the on-stage act and show performances.

Production Manager

Rene vd Bovenkamp

Production Manager René van de Bovenkamp is responsible for Dark Thrills Entertainment on-sight build-ups, logistics, and acts as stage-manager during our show productions. This hard-working power leads and oversees our cast and crew behind the scenes.

Technical Manager

Olivier Rijnsaard

With many years of experience in theater productions, Olivier Rijnsaard creates all of the technical elements, and light and sound design for the acts and show productions of Dark Thrills Entertainment.

Show Captain

Nigel Vos

Nigel Vos graduated as a dancer from the ROC – Art, and Entertainment in Amsterdam and went on to perform by Hans Klok’s House of Horror and at Walibi Fright Nights. With his passion for the ‘scare’, he brings multiple characters to life and directs the Dark Thrills Entertainment cast in their characters.
